City of Houston building codes require all new single-family homes to have air and duct leakage tests performed before final inspection. We have several certified Independent Third-Party Energy Technicians capable of perfoming these tasks.
Air duct leakage must be less then 10% of the maximum rated air flow through the air handler.
Whole home infiltration must be less than .35 ACHn (natural air changes per hour).
